Why is Canwest, which had to file for bankruptcy protection, continuing to spend money on a lawsuit against a group of pro-Palestine activists who produced a Vancouver Sun parody issue?

Canada's media giant, which owns the Vancouver Sun, The Province and Global TV amongst others, is drowning in $4 billion of debt. Yet it continues to act like a bully by trying to silence its critics.

Considering the vast amount (and range) of money Canwest owes, you'd think it could find a better way to spend what money it does have.
