Skid Row 2

Gentrification code named

Revitalization

Tell it to the rich

They dismiss me as free basin’

We don’t need an investigation

To tell that all Harper wants

Is a one percent nation

On my skid row

Through a plate of grass

Give my mom a kiss

(drug dealin)

I didn’t want to end up like this

(got me feelin)

Like ayahuasca, ibogaine, a.a

Is the solution

But instead

Cops let us rot in institutions

On my skid row

Since I’m recovered, I’m an outcast

No friends and isolation

Got me thinkin about a blast

Instead I write it down, try to put it in my past

Free at last but I’m still….

On my skid row
