Donate: Support Megaphone's Vendor Project

With the economic downtown having a disproportionate impact on the poor, Megaphone acts as both a safety net and a spring board for the growing number of people that are falling through the cracks.

By selling the magazine to their customers, our homeless and low-income vendors are able to earn an income with dignity. With more than 100 vendors trained over the past year, Megaphone is helping change lives.

"I like the fact that I'm actually doing something to earn my money rather than begging," says Megaphone vendor Joe Kryklywy. "I think that it's positive and it gives me some self-esteem."

But in order for Megaphone to continue to provide employment opportunities for new and current vendors, we need your support. Megaphone is asking out supporters to help us raise $5,000 this fall so we can keep creating jobs and sealing some of the cracks that more and more people are falling through.

This month's Victory Square Block Party got us started by raising $1,900. But now we need our supporters to help us raise the rest of the $3,100. Please make a donation today and help Megaphone continue to be a social solution.

Sincerely,

Sean Condon
