What is the difference between love and like?

The difference between love and like is love sucks. I find it better to like something than to love something. Whatever you love dies, and a part of you dies when that something dies. When you like something you don't have to put your whole heart into it just a little. You don't feel that much hurt when it's over. When you put your love into something the pain in overwhelming. The pain is more painful than a paper cut, more painful than an abscess tooth, is worse than a knife going through your heart. This is why love sucks.
