Then tomorrow (Saturday April 16th), come celebrate RECORD STORE DAY 2011 with our neighbours at Scratch Records, where (almost) everything in the store will be on sale at 30% off, and they'll be taking over Interurban Gallery next door (E. Hatings at Carrall) with extra tables of music and live bands all day long.

Here's the daytime lineup:

12:00pm - KALKI

1:00pm - GOODNIGHT BUFFALO

2:00pm - THE GODSPOT

3:00pm - LORD BEGINNER

4:00pm - DRAWN SHIP

5:00pm - HIGH DROPS

6:00pm - HALLOW MOON

7:00pm - BAD NEWS BABYSITTERS

...and the evening lineup organized by Negative Nights/Sweet Rot Records:

10:00 - SEX CHURCH

10:45 - IDLE TIMES (Seattle - Hozac/Woodsist)

11:30 - UNNATURAL HELPERS (Seattle - Hardly Art)

12:15 - B-LINES (Vancouver - record release show)

Plus, of course, DJs all day long.

On top of all this, The Interurban Gallery also is featuring the Picture Book One Art Show , with works by artists Fiona Ackerman, Karin Bubas, Jessica Delorme, Ryan Heshka, Steve Hubert, Jeffry Lee, Niall McClelland, Nadia Moss, Luc Paradis, Corrilynn Tetz, and Howie Tsui.

Everything is FREE before 8pm, $10 after 9. All Ages, bar with ID all day.

A message from the organizers:

"PLEASE do not bring your own drinks. We have a wide range of affordable beverage options available. We run these shows with an event license and you bringing in outside alcohol jeopardizes our ability to put on great shows for you. Do not drink in front or near by either. Also, PLEASE be careful inside the venue. It is an ART GALLERY with ART ON THE WALLS. Do not touch the walls, do not graffiti the bathroom, or SHOWS WILL NOT HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE. Please. Please. Please. We thank you in advance for not being stupid."

...So there you go. Your weekend, brought to you by Megaphone. Thank us whenever.

And since I guess I should include something to do on Sunday, Megaphone wholeheartedly recommends joining our writing workshop coordinator Daniel Zomparelli in his bed while he streams the Canucks game on his laptop. The game is at 5pm, BYOB.
